*A ticket system will be used for all activities (less sale-related ones). Various activities will require a certain number of tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the Fair — 2 for $1.
Bake Sale: lots of wonderful goodies to suit every taste!
Gift Basket Sale: AVPS classes put together a variety of themed gift baskets which will be auctioned off at the Fair. They can be found among the Silent Auction items.
BBQ: hot dogs and hamburgers including halal and veggie dogs.
Book Sale: come browse our large collection of used books. Magazines, paperbacks, hard covers, novels, cookbooks, and more!
Cake Walk: Unique to our Spring Fair — think musical chairs with a yummy prize at the end! As the music starts, participants walk around a circle lined with numbered cake shapes. When the music stops, each participant will be standing on a numbered cake shape. The announcer picks a number out of a basket and whoever is standing on the same numbered cake shape gets to choose an entire cake as a prize! 12 participants per round.
Coat/Bag/Cake/Cupcake Check: the utmost in convenience! Feel free to check your coat, bag, cake or cupcake so you don’t have to carry things around as you enjoy all the other Spring Fair activities.
Cupcake Walk: works just like the Cake walk but with cupcakes. This walk is more for the little ones. 12 participants per round.
Face Painting: what is a Fair without face painting?
Fortune teller: come hear your fortune foretold by our mystical fortune teller!
Fun Fair Games: Mini-putt, fish pond, sponge toss, plinko and target shoot. Lots of fun and plenty of prizes!
Hair Braiding: add a little flair to your hair.
Jelly Bean Guess: One jar; LOTS of jelly beans! Test your estimating skills at our popular jelly bean guess.
Mini-Fun Zone: fun for the wee ones! Sidewalk chalk, beanbag toss, painting, toys and the Dino-Dig.
Nail Painting: spring is the time for colour! Jazz up your nails care of our talented nail painters.
Penny Auction: for the kids. Use your tickets to enter a variety draws for some super fun items. Items like Principal for a day!
Plant Sale: check out our selection of lovingly-grown plants all ready for a new garden home.
Popcorn, Pizza & Samosas: more tasty bites!
Silent Auction: check our Silent Auction section to see all the fabulous items being auctioned this year. Put in your bid and hopefully take your favourites home. Please note that the payment for Silent Auction items will be cash or cheque only.
Toonie Toss: win money! Similar to 50/50 draws, participants in a group toss toonies at a target on the floor. The closest one to the centre wins half the loot!
White Elephant Sale: a giant garage sale — all kinds of new-to-you treasures to discover.
